Project Quantity Surveyor
Main Contractor - Fast Track Fit-Out & Interiors 

London (Head Office) + fortnightly site visits
£70,000 - £80,000 DOE

About them: 

Leading design and build fit-out specialist on the hunt for an experienced and self-sufficient Project or Lead Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The company delivers high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects across London and the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously - typically two to three projects at a time, with a combined value of £15m-£20m (each ranging from £3m-£5m).

This is a standalone role, suited to someone confident working independently and capable of taking projects from inception through to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all commercial aspects of multiple fast-track fit-out projects
  • Form a close working partnership with the Project Manager and Operations Manager on each site
  • Liaise with subcontractors and the supply chain, often consistent across projects
  • Oversee procurement, place orders, and manage monthly valuations
  • Review and manage variations, cost reporting, and final accounts
  • Ensure projects are delivered on budget and within contractual obligations
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Surveyor within fast-track fit-out (CAT A / CAT B)
  • Strong commercial and contractual understanding
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience managing projects valued between £3m-£5m
