Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Central London team.
Working across a diverse portfolio of
Passive Fire Protection projects, you'll take commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account, playing a key role in protecting profitability, managing risk and supporting the successful delivery of projects. The Role - Manage the commercial aspects of multiple Passive Fire Protection projects from award through to final account.
- Prepare, submit and negotiate valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and account reconciliation.
- Identify, price and agree variations.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow and forecasting.
- Work closely with operational teams to maximise commercial performance.
- Manage contractual risk and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Produce accurate commercial reporting for senior management.
About You - Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
- Experience within Passive Fire Protection, Fire Doors, Specialist Interiors or a related subcontracting environment is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple projects within a busy, fast-paced environment.
