£65,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Clear Route for Progression
Are you a strong leader with a background in social housing or property maintenance? Ready to take ownership of a busy region and build something long-term with one of the UK’s fastest-growing contractors?
We’re partnered with a highly respected main contractor known for delivering high-quality planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across the residential and education sectors. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of long-term frameworks, they are now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead operations across the West — covering projects from Bristol through to Southampton.
This is a high-impact role, overseeing multi-site, high-volume contracts in live, occupied settings. You’ll manage a team of around 10 and play a hands-on role in ensuring programmes are delivered safely, on time, and to the standards clients expect.
What you’ll be doing:- Leading the delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment schemes across the western region
- Managing and developing a team of Contract Supervisors, Site Managers, and Admin staff
- Overseeing multiple live projects at any one time, ensuring performance and customer satisfaction remain high
- Working closely with the client to maintain excellent relationships and ensure contract KPIs are met
- Driving operational improvements and maintaining a strong health and safety culture
- Reporting directly into the senior leadership team and contributing to regional growth
- Proven experience delivering social housing, planned maintenance or similar property-focused frameworks
- Confident managing teams across multiple live sites
- Strong communication, client-facing, and organisational skills
- A hands-on leader who can balance programme, cost and quality in a fast-moving environment
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the patch (Bristol to Southampton)
