Central London | £80k-£100k+ DOE | Fast-Track CAT A & B
A well-established fit out main contractor with a strong Central London presence is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager on a permanent basis, due to a growing pipeline of fast-track commercial projects. This is a key role within a close-knit technical team, delivering CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects, with a typical sweet spot of £3-5m, pushing up to £10m on larger schemes. The business is not chasing oversized headline projects, instead, it focuses on repeat clients, pace, quality and delivery certainty.
The Role
You'll be involved end-to-end, from the front end of projects through to completion:
- Supporting work winning and post-tender interviews
- Acting as the technical lead and client-facing MEP authority
- Managing design development, coordination and procurement
- Taking projects from pre-construction through site delivery to PC
- Working closely with project delivery, commercial and operations teams
About You
- Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager (or strong MEP / Mechanical PM ready to step up)
- Background with a Tier 1 or medium-sized fit-out main contractor preferred
- Mechanical bias advantageous, but strong all-round MEP capability essential
- Comfortable in fast-paced, fast-track environments
- Permanent background strongly preferred (not freelance)
- Open to candidates from a main contractor or high-quality M&E subcontractor background
- Joining an established team of TSMs with a strong collaborative culture
- Works closely with senior leadership across design, operations and delivery
- Second-stage interviews may include operations leadership and technical directors (format flexible depending on candidate)
